CANADIAN SLATE |
TRINITY
In geological terms, the Canadian slate deposit was formed at the same location and time as the Welsh deposits. When the continents separated, one part of the original deposit found itself in Wales in the United Kingdom and the other in Canada. This is the reason the Welsh slate and Canadian slate are very similar in colour, chemical and durability aspects.Unfading due to a complete absence of calcium carbonates.Completely resistant to severe freeze/thaw cycles.Suitable for use in salt laden environments (along coastal areas).
Price competitive compared to Welsh slate.
Colours and texture match the Welsh slate as it was supplied 100 plus years ago to many prestigious homes and national icons.Durable & long lasting.
