Generally regarded as the finest slate in the World, Welsh slate has been used for many centuries.

PENRHYN HEATHER BLUE & HEATHER RED HEATHER BLUE: An attractive blue slate with a purple hint and fine grained riven texture. Heather Blue is enhanced by subtle variations in colour and natural markings (normally green) that emphasise its true natural beauty.

Extracted from the 590 million year old Cambrian Slate Deposits of North Wales. Heather Blue is acknowledged as one of the finest in the world. Its versatility and durability make it suitable for almost any application and it is available in a variety of finishes.

FFESTINIOG A traditional Blue Grey slate that is consistent in colour with a fine grained natural texture. Extracted at the Ffestiniog Quarry in the heart of Snowdonia, from the 500 million year old Ordovician slate deposit. Blue Grey is of the very highest quality. Its versatility and durability make it suitable for almost any application and it is available in a variety of finishes.

CWT-Y-BUGAIL A Dark Blue Grey slate with a pronounced riven texture. Enhanced by distinctive banding that enriches its natural beauty. Extracted from Cwt-y-Bugail in the heart of Snowdonia, from the Ordovician slate deposit. Formed 500 million years ago. Dark Blue Grey is of the very highest quality. Its versatility and durability make it suitable for almost any application and it is available in a variety of finishes.

AMERICAN SLATE VERMONT GREEN An attractive light green slate that contains white or pale green veins which do not affect its performance, but add to its natural beauty. Extracted from Cambrian slate deposits of North America, Vermont Green is ideal for contrasting against other slate to create a random pattern or design.

BRAZILIAN SLATE CAMBORNE Camborne 'Green' roofing slates are from Brazil. Very durable and high quality.

CHINESE SLATE VARIOUS TYPES WE SUPPLY A FULL AND WIDE RANGE OF CHINESE SLATES Emporer blue/black Complies fully with BS680 Part 2: 1971, and the American standard (ASTM). Non fading and will not discolour. Requires minimal grading due to pre-grading techniques carried out at the quarry. The slate offers a natural riven texture with hand crafted deckled edges. Carefully Packed in Heavy Duty Transit Crates. Five Star Quality.

FIBRE CEMENT SLATE

We can supply a wide range of fibre cement slates. For instance we have stocks from two of the largest producers in Europe, CDB and SVK. We have a complete range of slates beginning with the SVK Montana, which is a dressed edge, texture surface slate, the SVK Glenstone has a smooth surface with a dressed edge and the SVK Ardonit textured which is a textured surface slate with squared edge.
From CDB we have the Elith plain surface square edged slate. All our fibre cement slates are produced to BS EN492 and come with a Ten year colour guarantee and a thirty year guarantee against disintegration. The slates are available in selected sizes.
